What to Expect – It’s a Bloody Good Time
Step into the twisted world of Horror Prom, where the vibe is equal parts dark glamour and full-throttle chaos. Doors open at 7PM, and the dance of the damned begins at 8PM. But don't be fashionably late—arrive before 9PM if you want to strut your stuff into our prom photo booth and be eligible to compete for the crown (and possibly your life).
Our twisted Prom Court will be chosen not by some shadowy faculty panel, but by you, the bloodthirsty crowd. Voting begins at 9:30PM and ends at 11PM sharp. Then we’ll gather the survivors and announce the winners at 11:30PM, crowning the creepiest, most iconic horrors of the night.
Carrie Set the Bar (and Burned It Down)
Stephen King's Carrie (1974) redefined horror prom stories forever, with the 1976 film adaptation cementing the iconic image of a blood-soaked prom queen—still a go-to cosplay decades later.Between haunting the dance floor and posing for photos, you’ll mingle with monsters, flirt with final girls, and maybe even slow dance with your favorite slasher. This is the prom you always wished you had.
The Crown Jewels – Horror Prom Royalty Awaits
This ain’t your mama’s prom court. At Horror Prom: A Night to Dismember, we’re crowning killers, victims, and screamers alike—and every twisted soul is welcome to compete. These titles are gender-neutral, because horror doesn’t care what’s in your pants—it just wants your soul.
Scream Queen – Best Overall Look
Whether you're giving full monster realness, ghostly glam, or blood-dripping beauty, this crown goes to the most show-stopping, scream-inducing icon of the night.
🔪 Super Slasher – Best Villain Vibes
Think masks, machetes, malevolence. This one’s for the creeps who look like they walked straight out of a VHS kill reel. Channel your inner Freddy, Jason, or that original villain in your own mind.
Final Girl – Best Victim or Survivor Aesthetic
Disheveled but defiant. Bloodied but still breathing. Whether you’re mid-scream or armed for the last stand, this award goes to the survivor who served the most slashed-up slay.
So sharpen your looks and practice your evil laughs—it’s time to claim your title and make prom history (or at least be immortalized in our nightmares).

What’s a prom without a photo to haunt you forever?
Final Girls Rewrite the Rules
The term "Final Girl" was coined in 1992 by film scholar Carol J. Clover to describe the last woman alive in a horror film. She’s the survivor—and sometimes, the real monster-slayer.As you walk in, our sinisterly talented photographer Egonzo Photo will be waiting to capture your killer look. We’re talking free, professionally edited photos that’ll make your inner scream queen swoon. Come solo. Come with your boo. Come with your whole undead entourage. The bloodier, the better.
Strut, slay, and strike a pose like you're on the cover of Gore Vogue. These aren’t just snapshots—they’re immortal memories of the night you danced with death and looked fabulous doing it.
And hey, if you’ve got a chainsaw prop, a dripping corsage, or a crown of thorns? Now’s your time to shine.
Fandoms That Kill It at Prom
Need some inspiration for your nightmare prom ensemble? We’ve got you covered—these fandom icons didn’t just survive the night... they defined it. Whether you’re blood-soaked or subtly spooky, these looks slay (sometimes literally).
Carrie – The queen of horror prom. All you need is a pretty pink dress, some tiara energy, and a whole bucket of blood. Instant icon.
Jennifer’s Body – Hell hath no fury like a cheerleader possessed. Channel Jennifer Check with a devilish smirk, schoolgirl vibes, and a hunger for attention (and maybe flesh).
The Craft – Goth meets glam. Plaid skirts, chokers, and an aura of “I could curse you with one glance.” Bonus points if your whole coven shows up with you.
Midsommar – Not technically prom, but who’s counting? A flower crown, eerie calm, and just a hint of cult energy go a long way.
Ghostface – A timeless classic. Whether you go full black robe or put a modern twist on it (Ghostface in a tux? Yes, please), this slasher never goes out of style.
Scream’s Meta Madness
Wes Craven’s Scream (1996) reinvented the slasher genre by having its characters aware of horror movie tropes—paving the way for a new generation of witty, blood-soaked storytelling.Don’t feel bound by the classics either—twist your favorite fandom into something freaky. Want to do zombie Zelda, demonic Elsa, or bloodthirsty Barbie? This is your night to go wild.
The Last Dance – Join Us If You Dare
Whether you're a devil in disguise, a slasher in sequins, or just here for the chaos, Horror Prom: A Night to Dismember is your chance to live out your most deranged prom dreams.
Arrive by 9PM to enter the contest and get your photo taken
Voting opens at 9:30PM
Winners are crowned (or sacrificed?) at 11:30PM
No cover. 21+ only.
This is more than just a dance—it’s a full-blown fandom ritual of style, screams, and slayage. So throw on your bloodiest ballgown, grab your favorite final girl, and let’s make this prom one for the horror history books.
